Helix Command-Line Client (P4) lets users run commands against their Helix Core Servers to version digital assets. P4 also lets administrators configure the behavior of their Helix Core Servers. With P4, you get access to more options than those available from other clients, such as the Helix Core Visual Client (P4V) and the Helix Core Administration Tool (P4Admin).
Ubuntu and RHEL/CentOS users can view package installation instructions by choosing their OS version in the ‘Platform’ drop-down. If the package install instructions are not required, choose the Linux option appropriate for your architecture, such as "Linux (x64)."
