Troubleshoot checking out files
When I try to check out a file from Perforce Helix Server,I get an error stating that the "newest version in the Helix Core depot has been deleted." What does this mean?
The file that you are trying to check out has been deleted from Perforce Helix Server. If you are familiar with Helix Server, you can use P4V or the Helix Server command-line client to undo the delete. If you are not familiar with Helix Server, contact your Helix Server administrator.
You cannot access this file in Helix Server until the file has been recovered.
