Connecting to a Helix Server

Connections enable you to access Helix Server to submit and obtain access to files under Helix Server control. You use the Open Connection dialog both to define connections and to open them in P4VS.

You can:

• Define a new connection
• Define a connection using environment variables
• Open a defined connection
