I couldn’t be more pleased to not just bring on the talented Puppet team, but we are also looking forward to engaging with the 36,000+ organizations that have benefited from Puppet’s open source and commercial solutions. We are stronger together and will continue to provide the same world-class service brands have come to expect.
With this acquisition, we’re expanding our portfolio with industry-leading capabilities. Puppet is recognized for pioneering what is now known as infrastructure as code and spearheaded effective practices for DevOps that flourish today. We have heard directly from some of Puppet’s largest customers that they rely on Puppet experts to be part of their strategic planning around the best approach to automating system and application governance and deployment for highly distributed and hybrid infrastructures. Bringing our teams and technologies together allows Perforce to provide solutions for a broad spectrum of the DevOps lifecycle and empower the most mission critical workflows in the biggest organizations on the planet.
This is an exciting time at Perforce and marks our 11th acquisition in the last six years that I’ve been fortunate to see through as CEO. When this acquisition is completed, I’ll have the honor to lead this combined group—proudly welcoming an additional 500+ employees to our global community—as we collectively support our customers’ success with solutions that help them deliver innovation at speed and scale with the Power of Perforce.
