The Edit Current User Spec command allows you to
edit your user specification and change the way Perforce
reports changes back to you.
User Spec:
Your email address. This field is used by your company's Perforce
server to mail you information on files you've selected in the
Reviews: field.
The date and time at which your user specification was last updated.
The date and time at which your user specification was last accessed.
Your full name. This name will appear on emails generated
by the Perforce server.
A set of field=value pairs, separated by
spaces, that specify which jobs will appear in your default
changelist. This is typically a combination of settings which
refer to jobs over which you have ownership.
For instance, "User=your_userid Status=open"
would mean that you will be given an opportunity to close any opened
jobs owned by you when you submit a changelist.
Your password.
NOTE: If you change your Perforce password
from within P4Web, you'll have to restart P4Web and log back in
again.
A list of file specifications in depot syntax for you to review.
Whenever a change to any file in this list of specifications is
submitted to the depot, you will be notified by email. This is
an easy way for you to keep track of changes to files in any area
of the depot.
