Trust Helix QAC as the Best Tool for Functional Safety and Standards Compliance
MISRA C++:2023 – “Guidelines for Use of C++17 in Critical Systems” – has been published after many months of hard work by the MISRA C++ working group.
The new guidelines have introduced classification of decidability to MISRA C++, bringing it in line with MISRA C.
A number of other notable new features have also been introduced, including:
- Better handling of “library” code
- Fewer stylistic rules
- Recommended “Rule of Zero”
- No “Underlying Type”
- Updates for working with Scope Bounded Resource Management (RAII)
- Limit use of “legacy for loop”
