Users and Passwords
Switching to a different user or port	Not allowed. (If you need to do work as a different Perforce user, or with a different Perforce Server port, restart your P4Web or start up an additional P4Web with the alternate configuration. See How to Start P4Web for more information.)
Changing your Perforce password	Use Edit User Spec For more information, see Editing Your User Spec and Passwords and Authentication.
Client Workspaces
Editing your client workspace	Use Edit Client Spec or ("edit client spec" shortcut) For more information, see Editing Your Client Spec.
Switching to a different client workspace	Use Clients Click on a client name Click on the "Switch to" link at the bottom of the Client Detail page.
Working with Files
Syncing files	Use Sync... or ("sync" shortcut) or ("preview sync" shortcut) For more information, see Syncing Files.
Working on a particular file	Navigate to the File Browser page for the file in question, then use any of the menu commands or shortcut buttons on the page to operate on the current file.
Working on multiple files	Navigate to the Path Browser page for the path that contains the files in question, then use any of the menu commands or shortcut buttons on the page to operate on all the files in the current path.
Submitting files	Use Submit... or Pending Changelists or ("submit default changelist" shortcut) For more information, see Submitting Files.
Adding new files into the depot	Use Open files for add... For more information, see Adding New Files to a Perforce Depot.
Deleting depot files	Use Open files for delete... or ("open for delete" shortcut) For more information, see Opening Files for Delete.
Editing files	Use Open files for edit... or ("open for edit" shortcut) For more information, see Opening Files for Edit.
Integrating files	Use Branch or Integrate... For more information, see Integrating Files.
Resolving files	Use Resolve... or ("interactive resolve" shortcut) For more information, see Resolving Files.
Diffing files	Navigate to the File Browser page for the file that you would like to diff, then use the following menu commands: Use Workspace diffs to show the changes you've made to the file in your workspace. Use Depot diffs to show the diffs between the version you're synced to and the most recent version in the depot. Use All diffs to show the diffs between the file in your workspace and the most recent version in the depot.
Determining what files you have opened	Look for the "opened file" icons ( ), or... Use Path & opened files or... Use Pending changelists For more information, see Using The Path Browser.
Finding a file or a set of files	Use Files matching... For more information, see Finding Files.
Changelists
Creating a numbered pending changelist	Use ("submit default changelist" shortcut), then click For more information, see Editing a Pending Changelist.

Labels

Tagging files with a label ("labelsync")	Use Labels and click on name of the label. Then use Labelsync... to tag the files with that label. or... From the Path Browser, use Label... Select the Labelsync option, select the label, and click . For more information, see Creating and Editing Labels.
