Checking for updates
To see if P4V updates are available, go to Help > Check for Updates. If an update is available, a dialog gives you the option to view the release notes and download it.
Note
This feature is available only when you connect to a Perforce Server at version 13.1 or up. The Check for Updates feature may be disabled by your Perforce administrator.
